Top Tips For Getting The Most Out Of Facebook & Other Social Media

Facebook & other social media has its place as a tool for both business & socializing. However, they can also become a time vacuum without us even realising. In today’s Yellow Monday, I want to share with you my top tips for keeping social media, such as Facebook, Twitter, etc. where they belong, and not allowing them to become an addiction, thus enabling you to get the most out of them.

Here are my top tips in brief:

  1. Remove Facebook &/or other social media sites from your browser’s home pages.
  2. Ditch the Blackberry, iPhone or other phone social media apps.
  3. Set specific times & time-limits.
  4. Have a purpose when going online.
  5. Be disciplined.
