Welcome to Yellow Monday ~ A new way of looking at Monday mornings. Yellow Monday is about finding & creating fresh opportunities in life. I have purposely tried to keep this site light and refreshing. I feel there is too much somberness in the world. Would you agree?
From Monday Morning Blues to...
Anyway, I originally came up with the idea of Yellow Monday as a kind of antidote for Monday Morning Blue ~ you know, that heavy feeling you get on Monday morning of, “Oh no, here we go again! Back to the grindstone!”
The thing is, regardless of whether we enjoy our job or not, life is not just about work. Life has so many opportunities, and even the most dreary of jobs or lifestyles can hold opportunities to advance yourself. It’s just a case of knowing where to look.
This is where Yellow Monday comes in. The Yellow Monday concept is all about opportunities ~ looking for them, finding them, seizing hold of them ~ and even creating them!
So Why “Yellow” Monday?

I came up with the concept of “Yellow” Monday, a short while ago when I was asking the Universe how I could turn Monday Morning Blues on its head. I mean, who of us really likes waking up feeling blue on Monday morning ~ or any other day, for that matter? I know I certainly don’t!
So anyway, I was thinking, “What’s the opposite of blue?” I figured that when we look at a rainbow or colour spectrum ~ the colours of red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo & violet ~ we can notice that the exact opposite of Blue is Yellow.
So, I figured, instead of waking on Monday morning feeling blue ~ down, depressed, fed up with our lot in life & the “same old, same old” ~ why not wake up feeling “yellow” ~ excited, inspired to find and/or create opportunities, determined to make a change (no matter how small it may be) this week?
What Can Yellow Monday Do For You?
So this is my offering to you & the rest of the world ~ a completely fresh outlook & mindset. One where opportunities abound EVERYWHERE! A way of replacing the “I’m stuck in my lifestyle & I hate it!” way of thinking with the “What opportunities can I find or create?” mindset!

Beautiful idea…such an uplifting site…love the positivity &vibrant colours of the site, i am going to become a dedicated follower &spread the word, hopefully no1 will ever experience a BLUE monday again!!!
itz so easy to be negative because of the stresses & strains that life throw at you but no matter how hard life gets you must always remeber that there is alwayz light at the end of the tunnel & that there is silver lining in every cloud, as long as you have life you have hope & that what this site is about…an absolutely wonderful creation…keep up the positivity,…coz POSITIVITY BREEDS POSITIVITY!!!
